Step 1Lay each board on to a bed of flexible cement based tile adhesive applied with a notched spreader to form a level base. (Follow manufacturers instructions.) |

Step 2Lay the panels into the adhesive with staggered joints, brickwork style. Use a straight edge and spirit level to ensure good alignment. Lightly butt the boards together, leaving 3mm gap around the outer perimeter of the room. |

Step 3(For Suspended Timber Floor Only). Secure with Aquapanel Thermal fixings at a rate of five per m². Make sure fixings are a minimum of 30mm from the edge of the board. Tighten Aquapanel Thermal fixing to the board's surface then drive the washer flush to the surface using a rubber mallet. Re-tighten the screw. Make sure that the floor is level then leave for the adhesive to dry out. |

Step 4Fill the gaps between Aquapanel Thermal boards with the adhesive. Strengthen the joints with Aquapanel Joint Tape bedded into the wet adhesive. |

Step 5Now lay the Devimat heating system according to the instructions. |

Step 6Lay tiles using the correct adhesive for the tiles selected (check with the tile supplier), then grout. |
As the ideal substrate for your floor tiles and undertile heating system there is no product to equal Aquapanel Thermal. However you still need to make sure that you:
